Government Affairs Committee

The Chamber's Government Affairs Committee works to create and sustain a favorable business environment in which all businesses can grow and prosper through the monitoring of legislation and influencing of governmental decisions on behalf of the interests of our members. This committee provides a basis for the Chamber to act on local, state, and federal governmental issues and evaluate political candidates.

This month: We will be discussing the ever-increasing concerns about drought and the overall status of San Diego County's water situation. Our guest speaker will be Mike Lee from the San Diego County Water Authority, who will present an overview of our region's water supply and how the SDCWA is working towards major infrastructure investments and forward thinking policies that promote fiscal and environmental responsibility.
